Eastside event features ‘tastes' from the region's finest chefs

‘Chefs' Fest' raises funds for YWCA Family Village in Redmond

Chefs' Fest, an annual event benefiting YWCA Family Village in Redmond , will be held on Thursday, Oct. 6, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. The gala evening features a silent auction and tastings and libations provided by more than 25 fine restaurants and wineries.

Participating chefs represent some of the Northwest's best restaurants, including The Salish Lodge and Spa, Kaspar's, Salty's on Alki, icon Grill, Waters Lakeside Bistro, Bis on Main, Ruth's Chris Steak House and many more.

Wine and spirits will be provided by Apex Cellars, Snoqualmie Vineyards, Mac & Jack's Brewery, Grey Goose Vodka and others.

Event-goers will have the opportunity to bid on more than 100 items, including ski resort vacations, private wine tastings, theatre season tickets, a four-night retreat at Lake Coeur d'Alene, cooking classes and a simulator flight on a Boeing 777.

Individual tickets are $85 and a reserved table for 10 is $1,000. Call 425-556-1350 or email mdering@ywcaworks.org to make a reservation.

YWCA Family Village , located in Redmond , provides transitional housing, counseling, employment services, child care and support for women and families who have experienced homelessness, domestic violence or other life crises.
