The Epicenter brings customer service commitment and "Fast Fitness" concept to premier Bellevue location - Bellevue Place

The Epicenter owners, NFL Buffalo Bill All-Pro defensive tackle and former Seahawk Sam Adams and his business partner Merle Gregg, had a positive reception for the Bellevue début of "Fast Fitness" with their July opening of their second and newest fitness center in its premier location - Bellevue Place. The Epicenter-Bellevue fitness center is on the second floor of Kemper Development Company's Bellevue Place, across the street from Bellevue Square and the new Lincoln Square. Adams states, "The Epicenter concept, along with our 'Fast Fitness' program, was two years in development and execution. It has been strongly embraced and very successful for us since our Seattle opening in January."

The Epicenter-Bellevue is taking the finger print established at The Epicenter-Seattle, Third and Pike location, to the 10 year-old, 22,000 square foot athletic facility in Bellevue Place. The Epicenter-Bellevue will receive a total facelift and be reconfigured to add a heated yoga studio, a kickboxing studio, a Fast Fitness circuit training room, and state of the art Cardio Theater fitness entertainment systems. The club has a beautiful 25-meter lap pool. Each locker room has Jacuzzi's, steam rooms, and dry saunas. Free weights, cardio equipment, spinning, aerobics, and a kid's club are available. A 5,100 square foot expansion will soon begin creating a state of the art weight room.

"We are committed to great customer service that results in a positive workout experience with members reaching their fitness goals," says Gregg. From its "Fast Fitness check-in" to state of the art equipment, The Epicenter's owners are determined to provide great service and a great club in a bright, welcoming environment. Wendell Sylvester, an Epicenter-Bellevue fitness manager, says, "One of the great things about The Epicenter is our ability to respond to customer wants and needs. We listen. Plus, our Bellevue location has free parking...we know our clients are going to like that." The Epicenter-Bellevue will retain most of the existing staff and at the same time launch their "Fast Fitness" brand and service level at Bellevue Place.

The Epicenter-Bellevue projects its client base to be professionals, corporate members, and the downtown Bellevue workforce. The Epicenter-Bellevue will have a family focus too, with family swim times and a kid's center to accommodate a full-time parent's workout needs. With the proximity to, and ease of access from Bellevue's residential areas, The Epicenter-Bellevue expects a strong presence of family memberships.
