2005 Food Lifeline Food & Funds Drive

In November 2004, Toyota of Seattle and Honda of Seattle provided 5,419 meals for hungry people in Western Washington .

This year, from October 1-31, Toyota of Seattle and Honda of Seattle will once again collect non-perishable food and monetary donations for hungry people in our communities, and we invite you to join us in donating two cans of food or $1. Food Lifeline receives 100% of all donations and can provide six meals with just $1.

Food Lifeline is an organization that stocks the shelves of Food Banks in our communities. Forty percent of hungry people are children and 10% of hungry people are senior citizens.

Food items most needed are high protein foods (tuna, peanut butter and canned meats), canned fruits and vegetables, Enfamil baby formula, pasta, rice, cereal and beans.
