You're Invited to Attend Hopelink's Faith, Hope and Action: Conversations for Change

It's compassionate to give a homeless child a hot meal and a bed for the night -- and Washington 's homeless advocates are doing heroic work to meet these immediate needs.  But it's even more valuable to help the homeless find a permanent home, economic security and dignity.  Especially when the homeless are families with children.

On that front, the faith community agrees, Washington has a long way to go, not just for homeless families but for thousands of low-income working poor in this area who teeter constantly on the brink of economic disaster.

Hopelink believes that it is a right and not a privilege that all children in our community to have homes.  Hopelink's third bi-annual Faith, Hope and Action:

Conversations for Change program will discuss the issues of homelessness and poverty and their affects on children.  Come discover how we as individuals and faith communities can support this critical initiative.

Join Hopelink at the Bellevue Christian Church, 10808 SE 28 th Street in Bellevue on Wednesday, October 19 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm for a day of inspired action and conversation around the question: "What is possible when our community chooses to talk and work together to overcome the impacts of poverty on young children?"

Admission is free, and all who are interested in making a difference are welcome.  Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided.  Space is limited so

please RSVP by calling 425-869-6000 or email Linda Bensen at lindab@hope-link.org.
