iFLOOR.com Opens First Land-based Store in Seattle

BELLEVUE - Since 1999, the highly successful online flooring retailer iFLOOR.com has grown by a staggering 5,900 percent. The company expects continued upsurge as it launches several land-based stores across the country. iFLOOR.com held the grand opening of its Seattle-based store October 1st. The store at 2920 1st Avenue South will provide customers with top-of-the line products at prices that are truly affordable in its 6,000-square foot store. It will feature the latest visual and display elements, which will showcase some of the best flooring products available in the market.

The branch's soft launch in 2004 was met with a warm reception, which has led the company into forming bigger and better goals for the current year. The grand opening of iFLOOR.com Seattle is a milestone that will signal a wave of changes for the company. The company's first venture into land-based retail will push it to make the jump from offering the best value for money online to letting consumers experience first-hand shopping at its best. The heart of the Seattle store is still deeply rooted in the basics that launched iFLOOR.com to success: quality products and quality service.

iFLOOR.com Seattle will be one of three warehouse stores in the state of Washington . The company will open one in Tukwila and another in Everett . It will be managed by Gene Decker, who will lead a team of eight full- and part-time employees. He brings 41 years of experience in the flooring retail industry with him. Working with his family's floor covering business since he was 12, Decker employs a hands-on and proactive management approach.

Regular store hours will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays. To find out more about iFLOOR.com's ground stores, visit http://www.ifloor.com/ .
