Codesic Consulting Names Ray Makela Chief Customer Officer
As CCO, Makela will be responsible for maintaining a broad view of the company's customer base, the marketplace and future trends. He will use this view to drive customer-centric corporate strategy and organizational initiatives. According to CEO Brian Corrington , “As we expand our business, it is critically important that we have an executive dedicated to hearing the “voice of the customer” and making sure we're delivering the IT services our clients value. This is a natural development in our commitment to build long term relationships with our clients in the Northwest.” Makela's new duties include the continued refinement of Codesic's service offerings, oversight of the company's marketing and public relations functions and responsibility for Codesic's customer feedback and quality assurance processes. “The concept of an executive who is responsible for customer advocacy is not new, but the CCO role has recently gained in popularity as companies define who will be responsible for gathering across-the-board customer insights that drive new opportunities, growth and client satisfaction,” said Ray Makela, Chief Customer Officer “Codesic has moved to this type of model to better align with its current and future customers.” Makela has over nineteen years of management and professional services experience in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Codesic Consulting in 1999, Ray held senior management positions at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) and Claremont Technology Group in Seattle where he gained significant experience in application development, business analysis and design, organizational design, facilitation, and project management. Ray holds a B.A. from University of Washington and an M.P.A. in Public Administration and Information Systems from the University of Southern California . |
