EvergreenBank Names Two New Top Officers

 Michelle Worden and Bill Filer are Named Executive Vice Presidents

Michelle Worden and Bill Filer have been named executive vice presidents at EvergreenBank, President and CEO Gerry Hatler announced on October 6th.  “These promotions acknowledge the leadership, commitment to excellence, and results each brings to the management team of our organization,” Hatler said.

Worden has worked with EvergreenBank for more than 14 years and has more than 20 years of banking experience.  In her expanded position, she will oversee retail banking as well as sales and operations, working to ensure that all employees are fully trained and work together to meet the mission of the bank and promote their “once and done” service philosophy.  Through these efforts, Worden will continue influencing and strengthening customer perceptions, that EvergreenBank delivers a great banking experience.  Worden graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School in August of this year and resides in Monroe , WA .

Chief Financial Officer and now Executive Vice President Bill Filer has worked for EvergreenBank since 1991 and has more than 20 years of banking experience.  Prior to coming to EvergreenBank, he worked in public accounting and as the corporate audit manager at First Interstate Bank of Washington .  He also served as chief financial officer at a local savings bank.  Currently, Filer serves on the board of EconomicsAmerica , Washington Council for Economic Education, and is also a member of the Financial Executives Institute.

Filer earned a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Central Washington University and an M.B.A. from Washington State University . He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School .   He resides in Sammamish.
