Pacific NW High Tech Career Fair Featuring 100's of High Tech Jobs!!Pacific NW Tech Career Fair is different then most area career fairs since it is put on by members of the high tech industry and it is targeted at unemployed or under employed experienced professionals and recent graduates from the various high tech fields. The Fair is a forum in which technology oriented Northwest companies, entrepreneurs, and small & medium business owners can meet prescreened prospective candidates and match their job requirements against the talent. The job seekers come from sponsoring organizations with memberships of over 5000 talented professionals from a variety of disciplines. The fair showcases candidate's high tech skills and abilities. Many companies and recruiters and looking not only for recent graduates but also for professionals that have a combination of an advanced degree, Bachelors or higher, and extensive skills and/or experience in at least one of the 17 targeted job categories such as: engineering, programming, quality assurance, information technology, marketing, sales, business management, finance, manufacturing, administration, training, HR, and materials (Purchasing). Up to 30 local and NW companies like Microsoft and Intel will be at the fair!!! The Pacific NW Tech Career Fair sponsored by the IEEE Seattle Section, and is partnered with the IEEE Oregon Section, Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA), and the Professional Resource Consortium of the NW. The fair is scheduled for October 18, 2005 from 2pm to 7 pm . It will be held at the University of Washington – Bothell campus, building UW1, in the North Creek Café area.There is a map link on the web site .It is FREE to job seekers who need to register on the fair web site. They need to register early since each candidate is assigned an hour time slot to talk to companies.
